a2i Virtual Classroom

The Teachers’ Training (TT) team at Agami Education Foundation (AEF) held an orientation session in partnership with a2i (Access to Information). a2i is program of the Prime Minister’s Office in Bangladesh aimed at using advanced technology to streamline access to public services. This is part of government’s Digital Bangladesh agenda to improve governance by increasing transparency and reducing time and cost.

The event was held for an hour and a half on August 30, 2020 with 21 participants, including trainers and teachers using Virtual Classroom as the platform. Md. Mehedi Hassan and Md. Burhan Uddin hosted the session from the a2i office. AEF members, the TT team, and several teachers from various Agami schools joined the session. The TT team is exploring ways to use the Virtual Classroom platform as an educational tool and plan out other opportunities with a2i.
