Agami talks to Xylem

This fundraising presentation was made by Dr. Sabir Majumder (NC) during an hour-long virtual session
to the employees of Xylem Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA on July 28, 2020. Main purposes were:
(a) awareness on Agami, (b) fundraising for Agami, and (c) exploration for joint project collaborations
between Agami and Xylem.

This virtual session was sponsored by Nazmul Zaman (NC) of Xylem and moderated by Semonti Zaman
(NC) of Xylem. About 45 Xylem employees, along with a few from company’s headquarter, joined this
session. At the end of the presentation, it was followed with an enthusiastic 15-minute questions and
answers session.

The recorded video session provides the historic inception of Agami Inc. in 2003 in California, USA and
its subsequent formation of a sister organization Agami Education Foundation in Dhaka, Bangladesh,
followed by couple of chapters in the east coast of USA. The 17-year journey of Agami and global
operations with 10+ programs, projects, and initiatives are elaborated on organizational structure,
operations, projects, funding, impacts, sustainability, needs, etc. – just to mention a few.

The needs on the ground in 13 underprivileged schools in Bangladesh with 5,000 underprivileged
students and their 10,000 family members are more than ever before. More personal donations, more
sustainable projects, and more corporate partnerships will improve the quality of education and quality of
lives for these underprivileged communities.

This model of partnership offers the options to partner up with other similar corporations in USA,
Bangladesh, and elsewhere on the globe. Agami is open for new initiatives and new partnerships for its
target beneficiaries.
