Dr. Quamrul Ahsan graduated from Dhaka University in the 70s. He taught chemistry in some reputed Bangladesh universities, one of them being Jahangirnagar University and in University of Houston in United States of America.  Later, he switched his professional career from academia to industry and was the Director for a pharmaceutical company in Dhaka before his recent retirement.

Faizul Momen

Dr. Faizul Momen is a Senior Technical Expert at General Motors (GM) in Warren, Michigan. Electrical engineer by profession, he is responsible for electromagnetic design of motors for Hybrid and Electric vehicle applications. He received his B. Sc. & M.Sc. degrees from BUET, Dhaka, Bangladesh and Ph.D. degree from The University of Akron, Ohio, all in Electrical Engineering. He authored several journal and conference papers and applied for several US patents as co-inventor. Faizul also had a teachiching experience at BUET as Assistant Professor for few years, prior to his pursuit for Doctoral degree.

In the past, Faizul has organized several fund-raising events in Michigan for Agami, through different cultural activities. He also served as an Executive Vice President for the Michigan chapter of AABEA (American Association of Bangladeshi Engineers & Architects). His hobbies are community service, travelling, reading, and playing table tennis.
