Nupur’s Journey Toward Her Dream Classroom

Nupur, an ex-student of PSD Nandipara, an Agami- supported school, reached out to me today. Her voice carried a sense of familiarity as she greeted me, "Ma'am, do you recognize me? How have you been?" Though I couldn't place her immediately, her tone felt like an old friend. It was then she revealed herself as Nupur, proudly announcing her achievement of securing an A- with a CGPA of 3.50 in the commerce group.

Nupur's Journey: From PSD Nandipara to Pursuing Dream

What touched me deeply was her desire to become a English teacher, a dream she still clung to fiercely. Nupu disclosed that she had financed most of her tuition fee herself, working tirelessly as a private tutor for KG to clas IV students. Her parents had supported her educatio until SSC, but circumstances forced them to leave Dhak city for good.

Nupur's Journey: From PSD Nandipara to Pursuing Dream

With limited prospects for admission to a college for HSC, Nupur faced uncertainty. Yet, her determination to continue her studies remained unwavering. Her father, a fish businessman, and her mother, a housewife, had instilled in her the value of education, and she was determined to honor their sacrifices.

As we parted ways, I wished Nupur luck on her journey. Her resilience and ambition were inspiring, and I fervently hoped she would fulfill her dream of becoming an English teacher. Nupur's story is a testament to the power of determination and the unwavering pursuit of one's dreams, despite the odds.
