Ideal Class- Ideal School

“Ideal Class-Ideal School” initiative aims to enhance students’ affective and psychomotor skills along with cognitive knowledge by integrating desired activities and responsibilities among students throughout the school period. This encourages continuous practice of these activities in every class, fostering lifelong learning among students. 

Objective

Execution

Class Management Design:

  • Home Room period (HRP): Students and the class teacher will enter 10 minutes before the regular class.  

  • Date: present: and absent: will be written on the right side of the board of the class

  • Students will sing National Anthem correctly and recite Pledge in the HRP 

  • Vice President of the class will collect the homework copy from all and submit it to the subject teachers in the HRP

  • After calling the students’ names, the class president will write the number of student present and absent in the classroom. President will write the date every day after entering the class.

  • The absent students will apply the next day of the absence with his/her parent’s a signature/ fingerprint  

  • All the above activities will be completed in HRP

  • The class president will be responsible to convey all kinds of communication to the class teacher/head teacher/subject teacher  

  • Class teacher will create groups of 5-6 students. There will be a President and Vice president in each group. These groups have a unique name according to students’ choice. These groups are named “Disciplinary Forces (DF)” of the class. The duties of the DF are as follows: 

  1. Classroom cleaning and maintaining discipline: One group is responsible to clean the classroom (Board, benches, floor, door, and windows one day of the week. Another group will clean the surroundings after finishing the tiffin period within 5 minutes. The president of the group will distribute duties among the group members.

  2. The students will go outside or inside group-wise for any kind of need. The group president will stand in front of the line and the vice president will stand at the end. 

  3. The class/subject teacher will help the class to make a line, and walk without making noise and breaking the line, standing roll-wise one after another. The president and vice president of the DF will keep his/her group members’ names in their notebooks.  One copy will submit to the class teacher. 

  4. One teacher will supervise the group activities

  5. DF president/vice president will supervise their group activities and submit the roll number(s) to the class teacher for any indecent /indiscipline action made by a group member(s)

  6. Class teacher/ DF leads will help the group to be polite, gentle, and disciplined in every communication and behavior.

The school authority will provide necessary cleaning items such as cloth, brooms, water, bucket, etc. 

Promoting 21st Century Skills among students:

  • Students will achieve 21st-century skills such as citizenship, collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and a growth mindset through different activities 

  • These activities include group work, classroom, and school ground cleaning, buying things from the shop, etc.

Promoting STEM education:

  • Students and teachers will be able to conduct interactive way at least one Science and Math project in every term

  • Students will learn different Science topics by doing necessary hands-on activities

  • The targeted schools will arrange a Science and Math fair at the end of the year and students will prepare projects on the topics they learn throughout the year under the supervision of the TT team. 

  • The TT team will monitor the overall activities of the targeted schools several times
