Volunteer Story  - Why I chose to become an Agami voluneer?

Mizan I always wanted to give back to my community and was looking for some local group or organization in the Bay area dedicated to promote basic education for the underprivileged children in Bangladesh. Among all the issues and challenges in healthcare, childhood education and other areas that need development, I feel that the most important area is that of basic education for girls.

I found Agami to be a great organization to get involved in. I believe that the founders of Agami as well as the management team are very motivated people. I was really inspired by Babu Rahman and his team when I first met them two years back  at a successful fundraising event in Fremont, CA. I am mostly interested in the fundraising aspects of the organization as well as learning more about the management of a non-profit organization.

I am very proud to be a part of this great team and am willing to contribute my time and efforts to take this organization to the next level.
